Marketing Associate

The Marketing Associate’s core focus is to support our growth strategies by collecting, analysing and interpreting sales and market data, provide educational, technical and operational support to customers and our B2B and IMR Channels and propose strategies to effectively and efficiently drive our commercial activities.

Essential Functions
  • Collection and analysis of market and sales data to establish revenue and market share growth potential
  • Keep current on market changes, competitive activities, clinical needs and the industry environment
  • Assist with the development of training and education programs and execute training seminars at our corporate facility or offsite locations.
  • Support clinical trials, research and new product evaluations
  • Support, train and coach the IMR sales reps with technical and clinical information
  • Become a product expert and liaison between US and GmbH on how these products interact with the dynamic neurosurgery environment (OR tables, navigation systems, Intra-operative imaging sources, neuro workflow, etc.)
  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating, developing solutions, coordinating with Customer Service, Sales and Service, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management
  • Facilitate ongoing customer feedback mechanisms and analyze the information to assist with continuous improvements (e.g. regional input, KOL relationships and customer advisory groups)
  • Document new customer requirements, clinical & product issues, customer visits
  • Assist with new product launches, life-cycle management and EOL strategies
  • Assist with product design and R&D on new technologies
  • Contribute to marketing materials, technical white papers and clinical application suggestions
  • Align US Marketing Programs with GmbH Marketing Team
  • Assist with annual strategic marketing plans
  • Manage current product pricing for direct end user and B2B customers for US & Canadian Markets
  • Assist with competitive product and pricing analysis
  • Tradeshow management (with lead generation assessment and follow-up)
  • Attend exhibitions and relevant local and national meetings and workshops
  • Assess and manage GPO/IDN contracting projects
  • Build and sustain professional and lasting relationships with customers and IMR reps.
  • Effectively represent the value of the company’s product lines and contribute to a strong company brand identity
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, management and other departments to build positive growth
  • Understand and comply with all applicable Company Policies & Procedures and exhibit highest professional and ethical standards
  • Other job duties as assigned by manager
Requirements & Experiences
  • Bachelor in Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in the Medical Device industry
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent ability to ask questions, actively listen, and solve problems
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, strong time management, results focused
  • Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Able to lift and carry 40 lbs.
  • Available to travel approximately 20% with overnights
